50 units of the SEAT Exeo for the Guardia Civil

The Dirección General de Tráfico has purchased a total of fifty vehicles from the Spanish brand SEAT to patrol roads across the entire national territory. Specifically, the model chosen for the Guardia Civil is the Exeo, equipped with the 2.0 TDI CR engine, which delivers 120 CV or 143 CV along with adapted equipment.
This is not the first time SEAT has supplied cars to the DGT fleet; however, one would have to go back a long way, as the most recent models used for patrolling were the SEAT 124, 131 and 132.
The acquisition of the Exeo or other models from the Spanish brand is gradually spreading among Spanish security forces, since the Mossos d’Esquadra had already opted for this option last year. Some SEAT Altea XL are also seen with police in various cities and municipalities.
