600 units of the Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV sold out in three months

It took three years to reach the market, but the SuperVeloce version of the Lamborghini Aventador has made its entrance in grand style. It made its world debut last March at the 2015 Geneva International Motor Show, and the Italian manufacturer’s plans called for just 600 units of this lightened supercar. Today, three months after its presentation, they have been completely sold out. The number may seem somewhat low, but it is common for Lamborghini that, apart from the standard models, all of its variants are sold as limited editions.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce is based on the same V12 engine as the standard Aventador, except that it gains 50 CV and a weight reduction thanks to extensive use of carbon fiber, bringing the car to 1,525 kg (50 kg less). The 750 CV and 690 Nm extracted from its naturally aspirated engine allow the Aventador SuperVeloce to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, while its top speed remains at 350 km/h.

Furthermore, the Aventador LP 750-4 SV benefits from a 150% improvement in aerodynamic efficiency and 170% greater aerodynamic downforce, thanks to the body kit and the huge fixed rear spoiler that replaces the active one fitted as standard. In addition, the all-wheel-drive system works with matte black alloy wheels of 20 and 21 inches fitted with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres and a set of carbon-ceramic brakes to optimise braking performance to the maximum.
With these figures, it is no surprise that its lap of the Nürburgring has generated so much talk. It became the fastest production Lamborghini to lap the Ring, falling just two seconds short of becoming the fastest production car on the legendary German circuit, surpassed only by the Porsche 918 Spyder. Its lap time of 6 minutes and 59 seconds demonstrates the potential of the Aventador LP 750-4 SV. Below I leave you the video of the blistering lap and its spectacular sound.
Having seen all its figures, you should know that the 600 units the Lamborghini was to build have already been sold, and the Nürburgring lap only added to the appeal of the Italian supercar. Of the 600 units, 200 went to the Americas, 200 to Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the remaining 200 to the Asia-Pacific. Its price in Europe was €327,190, while in the United States buyers had to pay $493,069 for each Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce.
