A 1,000 CV Spanish electric car?

The company Applus+ IDIADA will present a project to the European Commission to obtain the manufacture and development of an electric sports car with 1,000 CV of power and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.
The truth is that it would be motivating and exciting for our country to have the possibility of building an electric supercar with 1,000 CV and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. What am I talking about? It turns out that the European Commission has selected a Spanish company, specifically Applus+ IDIADA, to carry forward the project for this electric car.
This company must present the project before the end of this year and, once it has been studied by the Commission and accepted, the manufacture of this model would be contracted in our country, which will be named Volar-e.
The project is currently in an early stage of development, which is why we can give little data about its performance. We only know, among a few things, that it will have around 1,000 CV of power, which would place it at the forefront, even, of combustion sports cars.
We will see whether the European Commission accepts the project that Applus+ IDIADA will shortly present to them, and whether we have the chance to have a new Spanish sports car. We had better keep our fingers crossed that it is not a failed project like the Nathaly or the Izaro GTE. At least, on this occasion, there is financial backing…

Vamos que en la España de la cultura de la subvención sino suelta mamandurria “el e´tao” o los “e´taos uropeos” no hay iniciativa para diseñar, fabricar y sacar al mercado un coche, y mientras los mejores ingenieros emigrando a otros países. Aquí la mayoría aspira a ser funcionario (dicen las encuestas), a que el estado le solucione su vida, trabajo, hacienda y problemas de pareja, pero la vaca está ya en los huesos, y la economía se hunde cada vez más. Si en nuestros días hubiera varios empresarios que hubieran seguido la iniciativa que tenía el Sr. Barreiros en el sector del automóvil, España a estas alturas tendría sus marcas de coches. Porque capacidad hay, iniciativa y confianza para que un particular ponga su dinero, NO o poca. NO A LA HUELGA

pues vaya pedazo de baterías tendrá que llevar SÓLO para que la fuerte descarga de un acelerón no joda las baterías, y con lo que pesan…, ardo en deseos de que acabe el año para saber cómo lo harán
