Citroën produces the 200,000th DS3
The Citroën DS3 has reached the milestone of 200,000 units produced at the French plant in Poissy, and the lucky car turned out to be one destined for a Spanish customer.

Amid a tense atmosphere within the PSA Group, the French plant in Poissy can count itself fortunate to keep producing the Citroën DS3, now in its third year of production and the only model the plant builds. For that reason, and because there is no doubt that the DS3 is among the best things the brand has done recently, it is worth celebrating that they have reached the 200,000th unit.
The car that happened to be number 200,000 is a THP 155, one of the top models in the range in our country, and it was earmarked for a customer in the Spanish market.
The DS3 has been on sale in Russia for two years now, but also in Argentina since 2011, in Brazil since the first half of 2012 and in China since the second half of 2012. Recently, Citroën has carried out a lot of marketing work in China and Brazil so that sales continue to gain momentum, and it has also added the launch of the convertible version, presented at the end of September in Paris.
