A Qatari company unveils the Elibreia supercar at the Qatar Motor Show
Qatari automotive company Elibreia has unveiled a prototype of its first vehicle, a supercar powered by a General Motors V6 engine, during the Qatar Motor Show, although little information about its capabilities has emerged
If there is one country where supercars are perhaps more common than any other type of car, it is Qatar. The Arab nation has a strong tradition of luxury cars, and it seems they want even more. At least, that is what it appears after the Qatar Motor Show, where the new prototype presented by the company Elibreia could be seen, a supercar that stands out for its hard lines and for the engine hidden under its bonnet.
As is the case with other supercar models, this Elibreia brings to mind a Stealth fighter-bomber, with very futuristic lines, and promises acceleration and a top speed that have nothing to do with the limits on roads around the world. Unfortunately, we must limit ourselves to the model’s physical appearance and presence, as we have no data on its specifications.
We do know, for example, that its V6 engine was produced by General Motors and that it is capable of producing 525 CV, a power output sent to all four wheels through a gearbox about which we have no information, but which should be more than capable of handling all the thrust this luxury car delivers.
Its weight is 1,000 kg, which, combined with the engine’s power, should allow very impressive speeds and an extremely intense driving experience. The model is a prototype currently undergoing testing, so we do not know when it will be ready for production or how many units will be built. The price is also a mystery, as is often the case in these situations.
While we wait for more confirmation about its characteristics and production, we can enjoy these images and videos, which show some of its appearances at the Qatari event.
