A very special Mini: check out the Bulldog Racing Edition preparation for the John Cooper Works
The private racing team Bulldog Racing now offers you the chance to prepare a Mini John Cooper Works with the same modifications as the race cars that take part in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, suitable for road use.

As soon as it crossed the finish line and secured the podium at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, Alexander Schabbach, director of Bulldog Racing, already had the excuse he needed to offer this very special preparation to the fans of Mini. Essentially, these are the same modifications made to the standard MINI John Cooper Works to compete at Nürburgring, leaving aside those required by the technical regulations, since this is a car intended for road use.
Based on the John Cooper Works, with the 230 CV turbo engine and 320 Nm of peak torque paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, the private team builds each model according to the specifications chosen by each customer, including an individual specific tuning at the Nordschleife before delivery by one of Bulldog Racing’s professional drivers. Without a doubt, a real guarantee of “racing sensations” for driving on open roads.

Customers can browse the Bulldog Racing catalogue to combine or individually select the various components. Among them, the most important is undoubtedly the KW V3 suspension, fully adjustable in both compression and rebound. Not forgetting the 17-inch OZ HyperGT alloy wheels, which are fitted with Pirelli P Zero Performance tyres, or the sports exhaust signed by the specialists at Remus. The preparation also includes the removal of the rear seats and the installation of a floor mat and a mesh to separate the boot area, which saves a few kilograms of weight, never a bad thing.

Externally, this special edition can be recognised by a large decorative vinyl on the roof, the same one the team uses on its race cars. Inside, there are no shortage of identification plates for the limited and numbered edition. Bulldog Racing offers this preparation to customers who own a Mini John Cooper Works from 2014 onwards, and after installation each model is accompanied by complete documentation including, among other things, details of the day on which the suspension setup was carried out at the Nordschleife.
