Afrojack wrecks his Ferrari 458 Italia

The famous DJ Afrojack has had a spectacular accident this week with his Ferrari 458 Italia just a few minutes after taking it out of the Italian brand’s dealership for the first time. He published the photo this morning on his Twitter account, where he said that driving a Cavallino Rampante in bad weather conditions is not recommended.

Apparently, the Dutch DJ had bought the Ferrari 458 Italia to replace his old Audi R8, both vehicles fitted with very powerful mid-engined layouts. It seems that moving from all-wheel drive to a rear-wheel-drive supercar is not easy to get used to, and without proper preparation, this is what happens.

In his latest Twitter update, Afrojack says: “I need to take lessons to control rear-wheel drive. The 458 Italia is a monster compared to the R8!”

Fortunately for the DJ, and as can be seen in the image that opens the article, neither Afrojack nor his passenger have been injured. The only one affected has been the poor Ferrari, which is not to blame for anything, although luckily it seems it can be fixed. That said, the insurance company should get ready to pay out a good sum of money, as the repair does not look cheap.
