Aiways U6ion: first images of the Coupé SUV that will soon arrive in Europe
The first conceptual images of Aiways’ new 100% electric coupé SUV have just been published, revealing a bold exterior design. What do you think?

Following the arrival of Aiways with its U5 in Europe just a few months ago, now it’s the turn of the Aiways U6ion. This new offering from the Chinese electric vehicle brand has been revealed thanks to new images released by the manufacturer as a preview.
Alongside these new images, which promise to be quite faithful to the final model, the company has also confirmed that this new coupé SUV will arrive on the European market throughout 2022, while it develops a new sales network to serve its potential customers.
A very bold design
Focusing on its design, the new Aiways U6ion features a handsome, athletic coupé SUV silhouette which, in addition to giving it greater character and sportiness, thanks to its fully glazed roof, offers a great sense of spaciousness and quality, which is key in this segment.

Looking at the front, the new SUV has sharp LED light clusters in an L shape, a bumper without a grille that boasts a very sporty front splitter, and independent air intakes on each side, which direct airflow towards the braking systems.
From the side, the modern 21-inch black wheels with body-colour detailing are the icing on the cake, complementing the attractive profile of this new SUV, along with the plastic-coloured side skirts featuring several inserts also in body colour.

At the rear, alongside the mouldings surrounding the wheel arches, the new U6ion has an SUV-style bumper incorporating a subtle diffuser. Completed by an aerodynamic spoiler and rear lights running the full width of the tailgate, these elements finish off this attractive ensemble.
What is its interior like?
Inside, the cabin of this new prototype creates a very high-tech atmosphere, thanks to a sporty multifunction steering wheel reminiscent of the Tesla Model S, a gear selector resembling a yacht throttle, and its 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system alongside a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.

Continuing with the interior, the seats combine mixed upholstery of leather and fabric in a very youthful design which, thanks to nylon straps that serve as door pulls, adds a rather fun and special touch.
For the time being, we have no details about its powertrain and range, so we will have to wait to learn more, such as its price and exact arrival date.
