Cadillac V-Series.R and an elite team are preparing for a battle at the legendary endurance race against models such as the Ferrari 499P LMH from AF Corse.

Cadillac has announced its return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans with an impressive lineup: three hybrid race cars, the Cadillac V-Series.R, backed by a team of experienced drivers that includes Catalan driver Álex Palou. This return marks a milestone in the history of motorsport, as Cadillac seeks to reaffirm its legacy in one of the most demanding races in the world, with hybrid cars and Spanish representation. What more could you ask for?
The hybrid models Cadillac has entrusted for this race feature a Cadillac 5.5L DOHC V-8 engine, designed by GM’s Performance and Racing Propulsion team in Pontiac, Michigan. This is the second consecutive year that Cadillac Racing has received three invitations from the prestigious Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) to take part in this endurance race. In the previous edition, the results spoke for themselves: a podium, a fourth place and a tenth place in their class showed that they are coming on strong.

Cadillac Racing’s star lineup of drivers includes established names who have left their mark on motorsport. Among them are champions of the IndyCar Series, multiple championship winners and emerging talents, all united by a common goal: to achieve glory at Le Mans.
One of the standout names on the entry list for the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans is Álex Palou, two-time IndyCar Series champion. Palou joins the Cadillac team after his debut at the 24 Hours of Daytona, forming an unstoppable trio alongside Alex Lynn and Earl Bamber in the #2 car. His mission: to conquer the French endurance classic and leave an indelible mark on the history of motorsport.

The stage is set for an epic showdown. These Cadillacs will have to face other new models that are no less formidable, such as the Ferrari 499P LMH from AF Corse, or the participation of iconic brands such as Lamborghini, Alpine and BMW/WRT.
Spain will also be well represented at Le Mans, with a strong presence of drivers across the different categories. From Miguel Molina in one of the official Ferrari entries to Albert Costa chasing glory in LMP2, through standout names such as Lorenzo Fluxá, Daniel Juncadella and Álex Riberas, the Spanish flag will fly proudly at the La Sarthe circuit.

With 62 cars entered across three different categories, the 24 Hours of Le Mans promise unmatched excitement and moments that will send shivers down your spine. From the Hypercars to the LMGT3s, each class will offer its own dose of excitement, engineering and, of course, a spectacle like no other in the motorsport world.
