Alfa Romeo and its new features for the Geneva Show

Alfa Romeo will have a world premiere in Geneva with the long-awaited 4C, a coupé with rear-wheel drive and a mid-mounted engine, along with the personalisation of the MiTo SBK limited edition and a new variant of the Giulietta aimed at more sporty use.
The 4C is the production derivative of the concept presented at the 2011 Geneva Show, with technologies derived from the 8C Competizione in its use of carbon fibre and aluminium. Its main strength is the new 1750 turbo engine with direct injection and an aluminium block, the Alfa TCT dry dual-clutch automatic gearbox and the Alfa D.N.A. selector with Race mode. With a wheelbase of less than 2.4 metres and a power-to-weight ratio of less than 4 kg/CV, this sports car will be the spearhead of Alfa’s return to the American market.

The MiTo will also present two other customised “Superbike” models. These are a Superbike Limited Edition (200 units) with 170 CV and a Superbike 1.4 Special Series with 135 CV TCT, customised with the SBK KIT. Both special versions are inspired by the MiTo that serves as the official safety car of the World Superbike Championship. The personalisation equipment will include side skirts and a rear spoiler.
