Alfa Romeo at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show

Although to a lesser extent than other major supercar manufacturers, the Alfa Romeo stand at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show was also one of the most visited and most talked-about over the past few days. There, the Italian brand unveiled the 4C, the Mito and the Giulietta QV Sportiva to the entire European public for the first time.
We have already talked at length and in detail about the Alfa Romeo 4C on this blog, but that did not stop the Highmotor test team from seizing the chance to get behind the wheel of the brand’s latest sports car, a model that, although it will initially reach dealerships in very limited numbers, will leave a flawless mark on fans of Italian cars and, more specifically, on lovers of Alfa.

The 4C is a mid-engined rear-wheel-drive sports car designed for and by the enjoyment of its occupants. It is a very light and low vehicle with rear-wheel drive which, without having been able to test it, I can only find one drawback in. It will not be available with a manual gearbox.
The interior has been built using many parts from the FIAT Group, which Alfa Romeo has managed to transform for greater usefulness within the small sports car. The cabin is purely functional. There are no details that could add weight to the vehicle without offering something in return.

Alongside the 4C, Alfa Romeo showcased the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde. This version gives the model’s customers a sportier look, with firmer suspension that lowers the body’s ground clearance, 18-inch alloy wheels, side skirts, larger Brembo brakes and red brake calipers.
Inside, this Giulietta features a smaller, thicker steering wheel, red stitching and, finally, sports seats upholstered in leather and fabric.
