Alfa Romeo Milano Electric Cars SUV
Alfa Romeo Milan; Alfa's first electric SUV will be unveiled in April 2024
Alfa Romeo releases a small teaser of what will be the brand’s first fully electric SUV in 2024, a “welcome” worthy of Italian style

Alfa Romeo has announced the launch of its first 100% electric SUV under the name “Milano“. The choice of name is no coincidence; it is a tribute to the brand’s birthplace, the city of Milan, where everything began on 24 June 1910. This SUV, which embodies the sporty DNA of the Italian brand, not only marks a milestone in the transition to electric mobility, but also redefines the urban driving experience.
In April 2024, the eyes of the world will turn to Milan, where Alfa Romeo will officially present the Milano to the international press at an event that will not only unveil a new model, but also offer Alfa Romeo an opportunity to highlight the achievements made since the founding of Stellantis in 2021, underlining its commitment to the transition to electric vehicles and its solid global growth in 2023.
The CEO of Alfa Romeo, Jean-Philippe Imparato, describes the Milano as a “welcome back” to passionate Alfisti who have eagerly awaited the brand’s return to the segment. This 100% electric SUV positions itself as the new gateway into the Alfa Romeo world, offering a unique driving experience in the B-segment, Europe’s largest.

With the arrival of the Milano in 2024, Alfa Romeo completes its range, a range that began in 2022 with the launch of the Tonale Hybrid and the Plug-In Hybrid Q4. Later, in 2023, Alfa Romeo returned to the world of “bespoke cars” with the 33 Stradale (BEV – ICE) and, finally, in 2024 we will witness the debut of the first fully electric Alfa Romeo (Alfa Romeo Milano), the first of a range that seeks the perfect combination of sportiness and Italian design and demonstrates the brand’s transition to electricity.

The choice of the name “Milano” not only highlights Alfa Romeo’s historical connection with the city, since 1910, the Alfa Romeo logo has been a testament to its roots in the Lombard capital. The cross, a historical symbol of Milan, and the Biscione serpent, the coat of arms of the noble Visconti family, have adorned the brand’s emblem for more than six decades.
In this new and exciting chapter, Alfa Romeo sets out to reinterpret sportiness for the 21st century, demonstrating that innovation and elegance can converge in a vehicle designed to stand out on urban streets and carry the rich history of a brand that has left an indelible mark on the automotive industry.
