Alieno Arcanum, the future Bulgarian electric supercar
From Bulgaria comes this electric hypercar model, which is expected to enter production in the coming months and promises up to 5,220 CV of power.

Some companies want to bring important innovations to the automotive industry, and although some fail in the attempt, others succeed. We don’t know if that will be the case with Alieno, a Bulgarian company that has spent two years working on a powerful electric prototype that aims to shatter every record we have so far. Its proposal is called Arcanum and, without a doubt, it sounds and looks spectacular.
But for the time being, everything we have about the Alieno Arcanum is virtual, since there isn’t even a working prototype we can take a closer look at. Still, according to Encho Enchev, head of the company, who appears in the car’s presentation video, the performance of this supercar is set to break the mould.

Up to 5,220 CV
Four variants of this car are expected to be built, starting with the Alieno Arcanum RP2, which will have 2,610 CV of power. It will be followed by the Arcanum RP3, with 3,481 CV, and the RP4, which will offer 4,351 CV. The top of the range will be the Arcanum RP5, which will deliver the 5,220 CV it promises as its maximum output. And mind you, this top-of-the-range model will produce a maximum torque of 8,880 Nm.
As for top speed, the company announces that this model will be able to reach 488 km/h, something very few manufacturers offer or even want to offer.

ALIENO ARCANUM
These exaggerated figures seem achievable thanks to the technology Alieno has at its disposal. We don’t know much more, except that this model will come in several trim levels, for road driving, track use, private competition and even official competition.
The RP2, the entry-level version of this model, will cost 750,000 euros, while the next model up the range, the RP3, will reach one million euros. The RP4 will cost 1.25 million euros, and anyone who wants to enjoy the RP5 behind the wheel will have to pay 1.5 million euros.
Futuristic styling
The styling of this model draws on several inspirations, from combat aircraft to fish, as well as science-fiction characters. The renders of the Alieno Arcanum look quite spectacular, but since there is no physical car we can see, it is impossible to know how it will perform aerodynamically to deliver everything it promises.
The interior, which we have been able to see in the images, aims to evoke the look of a spaceship, with touches reminiscent of films like Avatar. The intention is to give the driver the feeling of flying a combat aircraft, and that is what the cabin design seeks to achieve. Digital screens dominate the space, and everything looks very spectacular.
Is the project viable?
For now, not much is known about this project, which was initially going to be produced only to order. Today, we know that there is still no car in production, but the brand assures that anyone who wants one of these cars will have to wait between 18 and 30 months before it reaches their garage. Will we see it on the road in the coming years? We will have to wait and see.
