All 125 units of the Koenigsegg Jesko have sold out!
The planned 125 units of the Koenigsegg Jesko already have names attached… even before the end of the Geneva Motor Show, where it was unveiled.
Not even if you won the lottery and decided to invest the €2.7 million it costs – excluding taxes – in the spectacular Koenigsegg Jesko could you buy one. The Swedish manufacturer has sold out its initially scheduled 125 units in the blink of an eye. This is not the first time it has happened.
Koenigsegg has revealed that before presenting its new supercar at the recent Geneva Motor Show, it already had 83 reservations. Customers who had practically placed a blank cheque on the table, without even knowing the final design or the model’s features.

Afterwards, following its unveiling and immediately becoming one of the true stars of the Geneva Motor Show, the reservations for the remaining 42 units were closed within the five days following the event, bringing the total to the planned 125. This is the highest-volume model in the relatively short history of Koenigsegg, a company founded in 1994, which has brought to market already legendary high-performance supercars such as the Koenigsegg Agera, the One 1 and the Regera.

For now, its lucky owners will have to keep waiting, since production will not begin until late 2020. From that point on, one Koenigsegg Jesko will roll off the assembly line each week, which according to customers will have been configured either for track driving, like the model shown in Geneva, or with aerodynamics designed to achieve the highest possible top speed.

The initial goal is to exceed 300 mph (more than 380 km/h). Given its technical specifications, it has everything it needs to achieve it. Remember that, among other things such as its lightweight chassis and an innovative seven-clutch gearbox, its engine is a 5-litre twin-turbo V8 with 1,280 or 1,600 CV depending on whether it runs on petrol or ethanol.
