All prices for the new BMW 1 Series and 6 Series in Spain

BMW has announced today what interested buyers will have to pay for the new 1 Series and 6 Series in Spain. Sales of the compact, whose update our colleague Víctor previewed in January, will begin in the coming days, but for the 6 Series, which debuted at the Detroit Motor Show that same month, we will have to wait until April.

The 1 Series comes as standard with front lights with LEDs, fog lamps, light and rain sensors, a multifunction sports steering wheel trimmed in leather, a BMW Professional radio with a 6.5-inch screen, Bluetooth, a USB port and intelligent emergency calling. Customers can complete it with the M Package or give it a distinctive character with the Sport Line and Urban Line trims.

Among the available versions, the new 116d EfficientDynamics stands out, which, according to BMW, offers combined-cycle consumption of 3.4 l/100 km thanks to resources such as a cooling system pump that switches off when it can be dispensed with, among others. The following prices correspond to the three-door body; the five-door costs €1,050 more in all variants.

The changes that BMW has made to the 6 Series are minor. All engines now comply with the Euro 6 standard, and only the 640i and 640d see changes in consumption, now 0.2 l/100 km lower than before. The rest record identical power, performance, fuel consumption and emissions figures.

In addition to the new exterior design, the most notable part of the update concerns equipment. As standard, the 6 Series includes front optics with LEDs, 19-inch light-alloy wheels, power front seats with heating, a BMW Head-Up Display, front and rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera and a BMW Professional navigation system with a 10.2-inch screen.

The list can now be expanded not only with the M Package, but also with two other new ones called Pure Experience and Pure Excellence. Their elements highlight the sporty and luxurious sides of the model, respectively. Likewise, the Competition Package still exists for the M6 which, among other improvements, raises power to 575 CV.
