Aston Martin Vantage Sports Cars
An armored Aston Martin Vantage made to feel like James Bond
This model from the British luxury manufacturer has been transformed into an armored vehicle capable of protecting its occupants.

Aston Martin cars have always been associated with the great British super spy, since they have co-starred in his adventures. And the brand knows it, so it’s no surprise that one of its most popular models has become an armored car. It was the American company AddArmor that equipped the Vantage with armor and advanced protection systems.
The model has gone through a conversion process and enjoys a fairly high level of protection. It has been fitted with AddArmor’s B4 protection level, which includes reinforced door panels, bulletproof glass, a roof made of reinforced steel that is resistant to explosions, and an armored fuel tank.

Other elements included in this protection kit are a protected exhaust and run-flat tires. But what stands out is that the door handles deliver an electric shock if someone tries to access the vehicle, and this can be activated from the inside.

What matters is that these additions do not significantly increase the weight. The extra weight amounts to only 204 kg, thanks to the use of extra-light Kevlar. The steel roof, the modified suspension and the exhaust add somewhat more weight, but the company assures that the car’s performance is not affected at all.
The engine powering this model is a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 block, producing 503 CV and a maximum torque of 685 Nm. These figures mean the car’s driving is not compromised despite the added weight. The price of this transformation must be added to the price of the car, so it is by no means economical and is in line with the model’s category.
The price of the transformation of the Aston Martin Vantage starts at €29,315, a figure that can increase depending on the level of protection required.
