Apex AP-0, the 650 hp electric supercar inspired by Formula 1
The Apex AP-0, an electric supercar set to arrive in 2022, has just been unveiled. It will deliver 650 hp of power and a lightweight kerb weight of 1,200 kg

It will reach the market in 2022, but the Apex AP-0 has already been unveiled and has become one of those cars we are eager to see soon. We already know that it will not be an excessively powerful car; instead of focusing on power, it aims for a spectacular design and an elegant look that owes much to Formula 1 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. A striking image that hides an electric powertrain delivering a total output of 650 hp.
To improve the performance of this model, carbon fibre has been used, which helps increase the chassis stiffness, and it features an aerodynamic package that helps regulate the airflow around the car. The design lines include a large LED cross at the rear, which creates a truly spectacular look and also serves as the brand’s logo.

Power and weight of the Apex AP-0
As mentioned above, the power of the Apex AP-0 is rated at 650 hp, supplied by an electric motor powered by a 90 kW battery. This offers a range of 515 km on the WLTP cycle. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds and has a top speed of just over 300 km/h.
The model’s restrained power is complemented by its weight, which is also restrained, of the Apex AP-0. This is rated at 1,200 kg, which allows that power to be sufficient to deliver a good driving experience.

Technological interior
The interior features well-appointed equipment that aims to be groundbreaking and offer something other similar vehicles do not. The Apex AP-0 offers only one seat, the driver’s. Moreover, it is positioned centrally and accessed through gullwing doors.
In front of the driver there are three screens to keep a close eye on everything related to the journey, and it features Level 3 autonomous driving technology, with automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control. In addition, from the interior the layout of several circuits is projected with augmented reality, so you can tour them while the car is stationary.
The Apex AP-0 will be manufactured to be ready in the second half of 2022 and, according to the announcement at the presentation, will have a price of 150,000 pounds sterling, which represents a price of around 169,000 euros when it arrives in Europe.
