Arrives in Spain: the 2015 Toyota Verso

The new generation of the Verso MPV from the brand, which returns to win a place in the preferences of Spanish families, has been available for some time now at Toyota dealerships. For this type of user, the Japanese brand wants to offer a solution for their journeys, adding several improvements in design, space, mechanics and equipment. To demonstrate its efficiency, they offer us some of the specifications, so that we can compare it with other similar models.

We will begin with the engine, which is the heart of the car. In this new generation, all versions of the Verso range feature engines adapted to the Euro 6 standard, thanks to several modifications made to them. All of them have seen a reduction in consumption, albeit by just a few tenths. For example, the petrol Verso 140 M-DRV has reduced its average homologated consumption by 0.3 l/100 km, going from 6.8 l/100 km to 6.5 l/100 km. A small amount, but one that allows you to save quite a bit in the long run.

The Toyota Verso is available in two petrol versions, the Verso 130 and Verso 140 M-DRV, and one diesel, the Verso 115D. All three come equipped with a speed limiter, which also helps save fuel and improve engine efficiency.

As for the bodywork, it can also be specified in a new body colour, “Azul Coeli“, while the interior features the East Flat modular system, which makes full use of the space. In terms of technology, it includes the Toyota Touch 2 system, controlled via a 6.1-inch touchscreen. It offers Bluetooth connectivity with audio streaming, a USB input and an auxiliary connection. On the safety front, the rear-view camera stands out.

Aesthetically, the 17-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic roof and tinted rear and side windows stand out, in this case in the Skyview finish. The Toyota Verso 130 7-seater Advance with the Skyview pack has a price of 18,990 euros, with the PIVE 7 Plan included.
