Aston Martin Vanquish 60th Anniversary Edition by Aston Martin Works: only six units

We’re celebrating. The first 60 years of the Aston Martin Works division are being marked, and to commemorate it they are working on the launch of an exclusive model. It is the Vanquish Aston Martin Works 60th Anniversary, a version of this powerful luxury supercar that will bring together the best of each decade in which it has travelled the roads of the world.
The special edition will be very limited. Only six units, based, as I have already mentioned, on each of the decades of the model’s life. So far we have only had the chance to see the first of these six exclusive units. It is one more way of emphasising that the owner of a car of this brand has in their hands a handcrafted piece, which has been made with care and attention by the workers of the British marque.
This first Aston Martin Vanquish special edition is white and has gold-coloured details on the side air intakes, the alloy wheels and the interior. It also carries the Aston Martin Works badge, which gives an exclusive touch to a vehicle that goes beyond the ordinary.

Small details are what add the most value to this kind of version, so it is worth highlighting that the controls on the centre console were at the time a piston from a Aston Martin, which was melted down to give them their new shape and purpose.
The engine powering this car and the rest of the special edition units will be the same one used by the basic model. That is, a 6.0-litre V12 engine capable of producing 576 CV and a maximum torque of 630 Nm. The gearbox is an eight-speed Touchtronic III that allows it to reach 100 km/h from a standstill in just 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of 324 km/h. An exclusive model of a car that is already exclusive in itself, and one that many of us would like to have in the garage, right?
