Huayra Pagani Geneva Motor Show Supercars
At last we will see the Pagani Huayra Roadster at the Geneva Motor Show

Pagani is back in the spotlight, this time with two images that reveal the launch of a magnificent and coveted supercar: the Pagani Huayra Roadster. The official debut of the Italian model will take place at the Geneva Motor Show in 2017.
The open-top version of the brand-new supercar has been one of the most anticipated models of recent years. Since Pagani replaced the Zonda with the Huayra in 2012, speculation about the arrival of this Roadster variant has been rife, and after more than 4 years it will finally see the light of day.
From a technical standpoint, we can expect great things from the Pagani Huayra Roadster, which will at the very least adopt a specification level similar to that of the standard model, i.e. a 6.0-litre V12 engine producing 729 CV built by AMG specialists. Nevertheless, we cannot rule out that the Italian firm will surprise us by using for this Roadster version the same optimised powertrain as the Huayra BC, which produces 789 CV and 1,098 Nm of torque.

In the images revealed by Pagani we can see an open-top Huayra, but what remains a mystery is the type of roof it will use. Will it have a soft-top like most supercars, or will it instead feature a folding hard top or even a solid retractable roof? To find out we will have to wait for the official presentation, which will take place on 7 March in Geneva. Still, if we bear in mind that the Zonda Roadster featured a solid retractable roof, it would be logical to assume that this Huayra will do the same.
