Auction for a Lancia Delta HF Turbo Martini 5 with just 50 kilometres

Whenever I write news about this car, a slight shiver runs down my spine, because it is “the car” I have always dreamed of. Moreover, the unit I am going to tell you about is practically brand new, so the thrill is almost guaranteed.
It is an extraordinary Lancia Delta HF Turbo Martini 5, one of the 400 units built to celebrate the fifth consecutive World Rally Championship won by Lancia (1991). To be more precise, it is number 124.
Its value is very special, first because, as I told you earlier, it is a unit built to celebrate the fifth World Rally Championship, and second because the car has only covered 50 kilometres. Apparently that was the distance between the Lancia dealership and the buyer’s home, so as soon as he bought it he parked it until today, thinking it would be a source of income rather than personal satisfaction.

As for its engineering, it has all the Delta “DNA”. The engine is the 2.0-litre 16-valve turbo that delivers 213 CV. This version is distinguished by the Martini 5 pack, which includes Martini Racing decals on the sides, the air intakes and the rear spoiler in black, red seatbelts, 15-inch alloy wheels (with Michelin 205/50 tyres) and Recaro seats with red stitching.
The seller offers the purchase invoice, the service book and a kit with the manual and the original tools. Silverstone Auctions, which is holding the auction of this vehicle in February, estimates that the car should find a new owner paying between 125,000 and 150,000 euros.
If you have some “savings” and have always dreamed of owning a practically new Lancia Delta Integrale Martini 5, this is your opportunity. I am collecting contributions in case anyone wants to help me.
