Audi A1 limited “Contrast” and “Black Edition”

Audi has just launched two new limited editions based on the small A1. Limited editions that stand out for their standard equipment.

Once again, Audi seems to want to give a little boost to sales of certain vehicles. This time the chosen one is the smallest in the four-ring house, which has just been presented with two new limited editions that, apart from offering a much more attractive look, stand out for their equipment-to-price ratio.

On the one hand, we have the Audi A1 “Contrast” variant, a version created from the Ambition trim level that stands out for coming as standard with elements such as silver-coloured arches, an exterior sport pack and 17-inch alloy wheels. As an optional touch, you can choose whether or not to fit a sporty rear spoiler. Mechanically, it will only be available with the 1.4 TFSI engine producing 185 CV, paired with the S-Tronic automatic dual-clutch sequential gearbox.

As for the A1 “Black Edition”, perhaps the most eye-catching version, it should be noted that it is based on the Audi A1 with the S-Line package. Among the most striking details, its bodywork is painted entirely in black, with tinted glass and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights are also fitted. Inside, new details that until now were sold as options appear as standard, such as automatic climate control and a 180 W sound system. This version will be available with the 1.4 TFSI engine producing 185 CV with S-Tronic gearbox and the 2.0 TDI CR engine producing 143 CV.

Finally, it only remains to mention that for now it is not known whether they will finally reach our country, nor their price. What is certain is that both limited editions will arrive in the United Kingdom very soon.
