SUVs are once again getting a restyling, and this time it is Audi that brings us the facelift of its quintessential 4×4. The new Audi Q7 2010 receives some aesthetic changes to bring it up to date, along with reduced fuel consumption across its different engines.

At the front, there is a slightly redesigned bumper and a new radiator grille. Alongside the standard halogen headlights, it features daytime running lights provided by a series of light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The turn signals have also been redesigned and are made up of LEDs forming a straight line above the air intakes.

At the rear, it also uses LED technology for the lights. In addition, four new body paint colours are available: Ibis white, metallic graphite grey, metallic teak brown and metallic Orca black. Inside, there are also new textures and finishes.

As for the mechanical range, it has barely changed, and fuel consumption figures have been revised downwards across the whole range, so the 3.0 TDI quattro engine now consumes 9.1 litres per 100 km. There is also a version of the Q7 called TDI clean diesel, with an even lower consumption of 8.9 litres per 100 km. The V8 TDI engine gains power, rising to 340 CV, and reduces consumption by 12%.
