Auto Retro Barcelona and the first public auction of classic and competition cars

From 5 to 9 December 2012, Auto Retro Barcelona Internacional will hold its 29th edition and, for the first time in Spain, will host a first public auction of classic and competition cars, motorcycles and everything related to the wide world of automobilia. The auction will take place on Friday 7 December, coinciding with the middle of the show.

Auto Retro Barcelona has reached an agreement with the Toulouse-based (France) auction house Stanislas Machoïr to present at the Spanish classic car show a selection of classic vehicles offering a wide range of options for the highest bidder: from Formula 1 single-seaters to classic city cars and other cars and motorcycles with significant pedigree in the world of competition and high historical value.

As a showcase of all the vehicles to be auctioned, a detailed catalogue will be published, in which private owners, professionals or enthusiasts who wish to sell their vehicles may also include their own classics of clear value that they wish to sell.

This catalogue will be available from 10 November (it can be obtained free of charge by accessing here), and the public display of the lots included in the auction will take place from the first day the show opens (5 December, press day). Admission to Auto Retro Barcelona guarantees free access both to the public exhibition and to the auction, which will be conducted by the renowned French auctioneer Stanislas Machoïr.
