Just like with car manufacturers, the role of the tyre tester is crucial. Thanks to their work, companies in the sector can improve their current products or develop next-generation tyres that offer greater safety behind the wheel, as well as superior performance.

If you have ever wondered what the work of a tyre tester is like, Kumho and Top10motor give you the chance to experience it firsthand, on an amateur basis.

We’re looking for tyre testers!

Through the collaboration started with Kumho, Top10motor gives you the chance to become a tester for the South Korean brand, which currently ranks among the leading tyre manufacturers worldwide. You only need to meet a few minimum requirements and be lucky enough to be one of the candidates chosen by Kumho.

Selected participants will receive a set of Kumho tyres to fit on their vehicles and evaluate their performance and capabilities in real driving situations. They will not need to carry out any special tests; they simply use them in their everyday driving.

And what does being a Kumho tester involve? The selected candidates will become real drivers who regularly use their car fitted with Kumho tyres. From then on, they only need to rate the performance and capabilities of the tyres during use (an average of 3-6 over 6 months) and send in their opinions on video.

The opinions will be published on the official website of the “Kumho Testers” initiative, and will be available to all users.

What do I have to do to become a “Kumho Tester”?

Taking part in the selection for the “Kumho Testers” programme is very simple. You only need to meet these requirements:

• Hold a driving licence and own a vehicle (passenger car, SUV or 4×4)
• Complete the registration form at: www.kumhotyre.es/probadores-kumho
• Upload a video explaining why you should be chosen as a Kumho tester, following the instructions given in the form on the promotion’s website.

If you think you could be a good Kumho tyre tester, simply go to the promotion’s website and follow the instructions, completing the corresponding form.

Once Kumho has made its selection, which will take into account criteria such as the originality of the video and activity on social media, the selected testers will receive a set of Kumho tyres, which will be fitted to their vehicle free of charge at a centre chosen by Kumho close to the tester’s home.

Remember, we are not looking for professional drivers, but people passionate about the motoring world, whose assessments and impressions after a long test period in real driving conditions can help other users.
