The Belgrade police has opted for the Chery brand to renew part of its vehicle fleet, thus becoming the first European police department to acquire a Chinese-made model for patrolling the streets.

In this first delivery, the authorities have received a total of 17 units, of which 15 belong to the Chery A3 model, while only 2 belong to the Tiggo. The former has a 1.6-litre engine capable of producing 117 CV.

During the selection process, the Chinese brand had to compete against models from other brands such as Peugeot, Skoda, Volkswagen or Fiat. However, they opted for the Chery A3 and the Tiggo for their good value for money.
