Benivan B100 Essential, the affordable Spanish camper van

Camperised vans remain a very suitable vehicle for moving around freely during leisure time and holidays. So not only are there camperised vans that leave the factories of the brands, but there are also many companies that work on several models to create this type of vehicle. Benimar is one of them, based in Spain, and it has several models available for anyone who wants one of these vehicles.

The most compact model offered by this Spanish brand is the Benivan B100 Essential. This camperised van is based on the Fiat Ducato Euro 6D. Its size, 5.41 metres, allows it to move through all kinds of places, including city streets. This size also allows it to offer a good level of comfort for enjoying leisure and rest time during the holidays.

At the rear, there is a 1.9 x 1.3 metre bed, which folds down, allowing you to rest comfortably, and once it is folded away, it offers space to live and enjoy an interesting area with good equipment. It is possible to add extra space for a third occupant, with the lounge conversion kit, which adds an extra bed. It even has a complete modular washroom with an integrated shower and a concealed washbasin.

Opposite, there is the kitchen, which has two burners. The included refrigerator has a capacity of 70 litres. Heating and hot water are provided by a Truma 4000 W diesel heater. The fresh water tank holds 90 litres, while the grey water tank has a capacity of 70 litres.

120 CV engine

This model has an engine that produces 120 CV, but it also has an extensive range of driver assistance systems. Among these are the Start & Stop system, ABS + ESP, Traction Plus + Hill Descent Control, speed regulator with limiter, electric heated mirrors, airbags for driver and passenger, depth-adjustable steering wheel and DAB radio with Bluetooth connectivity, controlled by a 7-inch touchscreen and steering wheel radio controls.

Optionally, the Beni Up package can be added, which increases power up to 140 CV. In the rear area, a fly screen for the side door, a roof skylight in the dining area measuring 70×50 centimetres, an exterior awning and a 120 W solar panel are added.

This model is also available in two higher versions, Plus and Extreme, which add elements to improve the leisure experience.
