Bentley Centenary Concept, the prototype that will present the brand's new design language, will be unveiled on July 10
The Bentley Centenary Concept will offer a glimpse into the brand’s future and anticipate the evolution of its design language.

Bentley may be preparing to present its new concept on July 10 as part of the celebrations for the luxury brand’s centenary. It is called Bentley Centenary Concept, and Stefan Sielaff, head of design, has stated that the new prototype will offer a glimpse into the brand’s future and anticipate the evolution of its design language.
“It is a vision of the future, not 100 years, but perhaps 30 years. This is how we see Bentley developing.” “Expect to see the future and how the brand will look. The technology we will show will also be credible, and our technology roadmaps will be updated over the next 30 years. We don’t want to show a spaceship; it should be something everyone says is a Bentley, and we can believe in the technological steps we are showing.”

According to Bentley’s design director, the brand’s designers have been working on the project for two years, but it is “far from finished.” The car is taking shape in a studio far from the Crewe headquarters in the United Kingdom to ensure it remains a secret.
The new Bentley concept celebrating the brand’s centenary features “a very innovative design language, which is very important to me and my team. We can discuss later whether the centenary concept made a statement, and our upcoming production cars we are developing have to go in this direction. This did not happen by accident; we have been having these discussions with the board for two years,” Sielaff pointed out.

Bentley Centenary Concept, this is what it will look like
The Bentley Centenary Concept could be a low-slung coupé and become the worthy successor to the Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept from four years ago, or in other words, the most recent sports coupé concept from the brand. For his part, Adrian Hallmark, the company’s chief, has assured that “it will be a vision for the future of Grand Touring.”
It is important to note that the manufacturer is reportedly planning a series of events throughout this year to commemorate its centenary. On July 10, this new sports coupé concept will be formally presented.

The new Bentley prototype could feature transparent OLED displays. Notably, the Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e Concept already set a precedent at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, with a single piece of curved glass spanning a high-definition OLED display. It is also unknown what kind of powertrain could bring this luxurious concept to life, but many engineers would opt for a twin-turbo V8 engine rather than a fully electric powertrain. Could it be a sports car positioned below the Bentley Continental GT? We will have to wait until July 10 to discover the brand’s new design language.

Furthermore, everything points to Bentley considering the option of hybridising its models in the not-too-distant future. By 2025, it would launch an electric vehicle on the electric car platform developed by Porsche and Audi.
