Lamborghini will have its own trophy where it can get the most out of its Gallardo, or rather its lightened version of the Gallardo LP 560-4, whose chassis has been modified and reduced to a weight of only 1,300 kg. The LP 560-4 delivers 570 CV and features a V10 direct-injection stratified engine, a synchronised robotised gearbox and four-wheel drive with a viscous differential.

The first race will be held on 3 May at the Silverstone circuit in England. The next round will be at the Adria circuit in Italy (on 17 May), followed by: Nurburgring, Germany (on 5 July), Spa in Belgium (on 2 August), at the Circuit de Catalunya in Spain (on 20 September), and culminating at Monza (Italy) on 4 October. All these dates are provisional.

Besides the participating drivers, each round will feature a guest driver, who will have one of those Lamborghini reserved for them. The Trophy will also award a prize of 200,000 euros, plus taxes, to the winner. They can be signed up for at the Lamborghini dealerships.
