Serie 6 1

BMW launched just a few hours ago the update of one of its most elegant and exclusive models.

We are talking about the 6 Series, which renews its look with the addition of more current details that give it a more modern image.

The exterior design remains practically unchanged in its general lines, although elements such as the bumpers receive a more modern design, giving its front end a more familiar look, slightly reminiscent of the current 5 Series.
The headlights now have a slightly different, sharper design, and additionally feature LED technology as standard, with BMW being one of the manufacturers that has most strongly committed to LED lighting.

At the rear, the result of the update is similar, with slight revisions most noticeable in the taillights, which feature a renewed, sharper and sportier design. Of course, they come with LED technology. New body colours have been added – Glacier Silver, Cashmere Silver, Mediterranean Blue and Melbourne Red – as well as alloy wheels with new designs.

The interior keeps its elegant and attractive style intact, maintaining a very high quality standard. Equipment is improved with the arrival, among others, of a digital instrument cluster in the style of the 7 Series, as well as a more advanced Head-Up Display, and newly designed upholstery.

The engines are the same as in the 6 Series that was sold until now. The power range runs from 313 CV in the 640d, through 315 CV in the 640i, 450 CV in the 650i and 560 CV in the brutal M6, in any of its versions (coupé, convertible or Gran Coupé). The renewed 6 Series will be presented at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), going on sale a couple of months later.
