BMW M will finally not develop its supercar

The top management of BMW has finally decided to take a step back and deny the production of the supercar created by the high-performance division of the German company

A few months ago, the head of the high-performance division of BMW delighted us with the idea of creating an exclusive supercar by M GmbH. Now, however, according to the latest rumours, as I said then and I will say again, at least in the short term this vehicle will not see the light of day.

Apparently this supercar, equipped with a twin-turbo V10 capable of producing more than 600 horsepower, has for now remained just that: a statement of intent that will go no further. At least we are left with the idea that the project has already been evaluated, and where there’s smoke…

Naturally, on this subject there will be people who say that BMW has no need at all for a ultra-expensive and exclusive vehicle, while the most devoted fans will surely miss a model in the lineup designed to compete with the Audi R8 and Mercedes SLS AMG, which have earned so much fame.

In my view, it is undoubtedly a hard blow, since merely thinking of a vehicle like the one you see in the images spread throughout the article, and especially one whose power exceeded 600 horsepower, is no small thing, and above all a clear statement to all its rivals. Unfortunately, for now it seems we will see it in the short to medium term.
