BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition; only 23 units

BMW has announced the launch of a special series based on the M4, one of the most performance-oriented vehicles in its range.
We are talking about the M4 DTM Champion Edition, a limited edition of 23 units with which the Bavarian manufacturer celebrates its successes in the German Touring Car Championship (DTM).
The first thing that catches the eye is the very small number of units that will go on sale. However, it is no coincidence that they have been limited to 23, since 23 is the race number that German driver Bruno Spengler carried on his competition car. This driver has achieved success on numerous occasions behind the wheel of a BMW in 2012, something that has been repeated this season thanks to driver Marco Wittmann at the wheel of his M4, which has motivated the creation of this special series.

This limited series has been built by the workshops of BMW Individual, which means that quality and exclusivity are more than guaranteed. On the exterior, the German manufacturer has decided to add a touch of sportiness to the already aggressive bodywork of the M4. The vinyl running across the bonnet and boot surfaces stands out, where different colours add a flashy touch to the overall look.
They are not the only decals found along the bodywork, as on the sides we can see there is no shortage of race numbers or the dark lines with the ///M logo. Of course, the roof retains its carbon fibre construction, something we have been seeing since the legendary M3 CSL (E46). The 19″ alloy wheels are painted matt black, which offers a strong colour contrast in combination with the gold brake calipers.

Inside, both carbon fibre and Alcantara can be found wherever you look. Of course, the stitching follows the ///M logo pattern, in the three colours. It appears on details such as the handbrake boot and the steering wheel. In addition, the signature of Marco Wittmann has been screen-printed in various places around the cabin, such as the door sill and the dashboard trim.
