BMW Serie 1 M Coupé test drive at Ascari

Little by little, BMW is revealing related details about its new member of the M category, a model that will stand out precisely for being among the smallest, together with the Z4 M, as well as the cheapest.
Now, just because it is the smallest or the cheapest does not mean it will be the worst of them all, since thanks to its short length and its anticipated more than 300 hp, a probable total of 340 hp is expected. You are looking at a model clearly focused on track use without ceasing to be suitable for daily driving.
As you can see, BMW continues refining both the dynamic and mechanical behaviour of the 3.0-litre, six-cylinder inline engine fitted with a twin-turbo system, for which last July the test team travelled to the Ascari Race Resort circuit.
Thanks to this test at Ascari we can see in detail elements such as the dashboard or even certain trim finishes that should not differ much from those of the final model. All of it is in a video recorded handheld, where they have not bothered to add music, which in my opinion is much better, since we can hear much better the sounds coming from this tremendous engine.
