BMW X3 sDrive 18d, the brand's new offer in Spain

Until now, the entry-level diesel option for the BMW X3 in Spain was the xDrive 20d with the 2-litre engine producing 184 CV. However, BMW has decided to introduce a new model below the 20d, so the entry-level diesel version of the X3 becomes the X3 sDrive 18d, with the same engine used in the BMW 118d of the 1 Series and the 318d.
In the X3, the small diesel delivers 143 CV and 360 Nm of torque, with consumption figures of 5.1 l/100 km with the manual gearbox and 5.3 l/100 km with the automatic gearbox. The only drawback we can point out is that it is the only model in the current range that does not have xDrive all-wheel drive.
The standard equipment of the new model will include six airbags, stability control, dual-zone climate control, hill start assist, brake assist, DTC traction control, electric parking brake, cruise control, and a 6.5-inch colour display on the dashboard, among other features. As an option, it can be fitted with the M Sport package, which includes metallic paint, sport suspension, Performance Control (rear-wheel torque distribution), sport seats for driver and passenger, M Aerodynamics package, Shadow Line in high-gloss BMW Individual, Aluminium interior trim with fine longitudinal grinding, M leather steering wheel, 18-inch wheels, and so on.
The performance figures announced by the German manufacturer are an acceleration of between 9.9 and 10.3 seconds depending on the type of transmission, with a top speed that also varies according to the gearbox of 190 to 195 km/h.
