The Brabus Big Boy 1200 is a luxury motorhome built on a Mercedes Actros that offers the leisure and free-time space demanding buyers are looking for.

The tuner Brabus has accustomed us to seeing vehicles that go beyond the usual scale and become true luxury machines. What we did not expect was for it to work on a truck to turn it into the largest extreme motorhome it has presented so far. The Brabus Big Boy 1200 is a conversion based on the Mercedes Actros, a 12-metre-long truck.

This vehicle was created in collaboration with the company STX Motorhomes and has been developed to create a leisure space capable of going anywhere and offering a space to relax and spend free time. The living area offers a floor area of 30 square metres, which has also been equipped so that the occupants feel at home.

The impressive vehicle is part of a series of luxury motorhomes the brand plans to build, which will be named Masterpiece. The exterior is made of black composite, which gives it a very striking look. The LED-technology headlights and the exposed carbon on the grille are the only elements that break the dark aesthetic of the model.

We have already mentioned that it has a length of 12 metres, although it also offers a width of 2.5 metres and a height of four metres. In addition, it has four electrically extendable modules that expand the living space at the rear even further. They deploy when the vehicle is stationary and are stabilised with hydraulic jacks.

Access is via a folding staircase that leads into a spacious lounge connected to the bedroom, which with the extensions becomes a space 4.5 metres wide. It has a double bed, two sofas and a single bed located above the cab.

The bathroom has natural stone cladding and a shower, toilet and washbasin. The kitchen is fitted with high-end appliances and includes an oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and even a wine cooler, among other details. The lounge can be used as a sitting area or as a mobile office, should work need to be done during the journey.

Connectivity

The connectivity of the Brabus Big Boy 1200 motorhome is provided by Starlink and a Wi-Fi router. It is equipped with two 43-inch 4K televisions, a PS5 console and a high-end audio system. The cabin upholstery is leather and Alcantara, along with several decorative elements made of carbon.

Power comes from eight solar panels mounted on the roof. A battery and a generator ensure that electricity will not run out at any point during the camping trip. The large fresh and waste water tanks help provide a long range away from home. The entire cabin is well insulated and allows heating and air conditioning to be enjoyed regardless of the weather outside.

Engine

This vehicle is powered by a 12.8-litre turbodiesel engine that produces 523 CV and 2,600 Nm of torque. The top speed of this setup is electronically limited to 90 km/h. It has three axles, two of which are located at the rear of the trailer.

As for the price, Brabus will only build this model if the buyer pays 1,260,504.20 euros. A figure that goes beyond the scale of any motorhome, but which is very appropriate for the luxury it offers. We suppose there will be those interested in this truck converted into a motorhome, so the price will not be a problem for anyone who sets their sights on it.
