Brabus elected best tuner by Auto Motor und Sport

Germany can afford to boast the best motorways and roads in the world, and a high automotive culture that brings with it the best tuners in the world. Brabus is one of them. Just today my colleague David showed us one of Brabus’s modifications on the eternal G-Class, and now we learn that it has been named the best tuner, in a survey by Auto Motor und Sport.

The best tuner in Germany? The best tuner in Europe? With that habit (inherited from the Americans) of naming the “best in the world” in a local survey, it matters little whether it is the best in Germany or in Europe. With its three locations in Germany, the USA and Dubai, there is not much doubt about geography.

Since 1977, Brabus has been dedicated to tuning Mercedes-Benz. At some point in its history Maybach and Smart also entered the business, although the one that has remained strongest has been the smaller Smart. Maybach has remained within its exclusive division Brabus Executive (which also “prepares” yachts).

This year marks the sixth consecutive year that Brabus has won the vote in Germany, and I suspect it will keep winning as long as we keep receiving those wonderful Mercedes touched by its magic.
