Brabus tunes the Mercedes S-Class

The well-known tuner Brabus is back at it, this time equipping the Mercedes S-Class with the SV12 R Biturbo 800 engine. The German brand’s flagship is not the first to receive this engine, as we have already seen it in other models such as the E-Class, as well as in its coupé variant. The new 6,300 cc V12 block develops 800 CV of power, 50 CV more than the previous version thanks to its two turbos.
It is worth noting that the engine is ‘capped’ in terms of torque and top speed, which falls within reason, I very much doubt anyone would find it a shortcoming to go 350 km/h…As for the performance of this version, it takes 3.9 seconds to get this S-Class from standstill to 100 km/h, while reaching 200 km/h takes a further 6.4 seconds.
In terms of improvements, a new, lowered suspension stands out, tuned to the demands of driving, along with some cosmetic touch-ups such as the new LED daytime running lights fitted on this occasion. Finally, the high-tech features provided by the well-known company Apple deserve a mention; they turn the interior of this new version of the S-Class into a genuine rolling office.
