Rossin-Bertin Vorax, the Brazilian supercar

It is striking how an event like the São Paulo Motor Show, which normally doesn’t attract much attention, goes from playing a secondary role to making headlines thanks to the unveiling of a new model of the stature of the Rossin-Bertin Vorax, no less than a supercar designed and built in Brazil
One of the most striking things is the original line followed by the team in charge of its design, since the most common practice, unfortunately, is for this kind of new supercar to follow designs already presented in other models, that is, to brazenly copy certain design choices made, for example, by Lamborghini or Ferrari.

Even so, as you can see in the photos, this model bears a certain resemblance to others already on the market, such as its front end, whose light arrangement perhaps recalls too closely the styling device used by Nissan on its Juke.
If we look at the mechanicals, according to its manufacturer this model will use a chassis made of carbon fibre and aluminium that will house no less than a 5.0-litre V10 of BMW origin, something that may not sit well with us, since some time ago BMW announced the end of production of this engine at the same time as it announced the cessation of production of the BMW M6.

The truth is that on this point things may get a little complicated for them but, be that as it may, they continue to announce the arrival on the market of a model that will be available in two different power options. The first would be 525 hp, while the more powerful option is a V10 capable of delivering 750 hp thanks to a new supercharger.
With such capacity, it is no surprise that its manufacturer claims that this model, in its 525 hp version, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and that its top speed is around 330 km/h, while in its most powerful version it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 372 km/h.
Now, what future awaits this young company? Honestly, I wish them the best of possible futures, although things may not go so well, especially knowing they have already decided their path: selling between 500 and 1,000 units a year at a starting price of 290,000 euros, something that at first glance is hard to swallow.
