Bugatti Chiron Edition Noire: only 20 units, at 3 million euros

With a starting price of 3 million euros, the Bugatti Chiron is presented in two limited editions, Chiron Noire Sportive and Chiron Noire Elegance, of which a total of 10 units of each will be built.

Remember the Bugatti La Voiture Noire? The supercar created to pay tribute to the Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic became the most expensive production car in the world, surpassing 11 million euros.

Well, with the price of the Bugatti La Voiture Noire you could almost buy four units of the new limited edition of the Chiron. There are two special editions, named Bugatti Chiron Noire Sportive and Chiron Noire Elegance, and 10 units of each will be built, with a price of 3 million euros. Interested customers can already place their reservation, and will have to wait until mid-2020 to receive their cars.

Carbon fibre and 1,500 CV W16 engine

These two new versions of the Bugatti Chiron feature a carbon fibre bodywork. For their design and trim, they worked with an exceptional partner: Hermès.

The Sportive is finished in matte, and the wheels and the inserts in the grille or in the “C” line that forms the bodywork are also matte black. In the Elegance, the wheels, the polished aluminium mirror housings, the bodywork trim and a solid silver brand emblem provide the glossy tone. The distinctive quad exhaust outlet is the same on both models as on the Bugatti Chiron Sport.

Inside, each of the versions has distinctive design elements, such as black leather or the various controls finished in matte black. Bugatti will allow owners of a Chiron Sport to “upgrade” their cars with the exterior and interior finishes of this limited series, for a price of around 100,000 euros.

There is no news in the mechanical section. The Chiron continues to boast one of the most powerful and sophisticated engines used in a production car: a 16-cylinder W engine of 8 litres, with a power output of no less than 1,500 CV.
