Bugatti Veyron Super Sport in Koenigsegg's sights

Koenigsegg, the Swedish supercar manufacturer, has just burst onto the scene with rumours and reports that may shake up many people, especially those pointing to a new project that could be unveiled shortly
It concerns nothing less than the creation of a supercar with the sole aim of competing on top speed and performance with the latest Bugatti. In other words, what Koenigsegg is after with this project is the crown of best supercar of the moment, a crown currently held by the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.
According to the scarce information that has reached us, this supercar would apparently be based on the Koenigsegg Agera, the model to which the photos in this post belong. In my opinion, that model would need to improve its performance and aerodynamics considerably in order to beat the Veyron Super Sport of Bugatti.
