In 2023, the BYD Atto 3 consolidated its position as the sales leader among new-energy vehicles in several countries, including Singapore, New Zealand, Brazil, Thailand, Israel and Sweden. These achievements reflect the growing global presence and success of BYD in the automotive industry.

The figures speak for themselves: the BYD Atto 3 was the best-selling 100% electric vehicle in Thailand in July 2023 and maintained its leadership in the new-energy sales charts in Israel for nine consecutive months. These milestones highlight the positive impact BYD has had on the transition to sustainable mobility.

Beyond its market success, the BYD Atto 3 has been recognised for its safety excellence, earning a 5-star rating in Euro NCAP tests. In 2022, the company took a bold decision to cease production of internal combustion vehicles in order to focus exclusively on 100% battery electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) vehicles. As a result, BYD has produced more than 1.86 million new-energy passenger cars and SUVs, consolidating its position as the world’s largest manufacturer of new-energy vehicles.
