Changes to the VW Phaeton

Volkswagen has updated the Phaeton. The Volkswagen Phaeton, the forgotten gem of the German brand, receives minor changes affecting the front, interior, equipment and a new engine.
As for the engine, the main novelty, it receives the 3.6-litre FSI unit producing 280 CV. An engine with high performance (0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds) and at the same time very efficient, with an average consumption of 11.7 l/100 km.
Continuing with the changes, the exterior gets a new chrome grille and new 18″ and 19″ alloy wheels. The base V6 version now comes as standard with 17″ “Impression” wheels.

Inside, changes also come in the form of a new air-conditioning system and a central console with a redesigned instrument panel, as well as new wood trim finishes. It also features a new RNS 810 navigation system with an eight-inch touchscreen, a 30 GB hard drive, SD card reader and DVD player, which can be combined with the ‘Bluetooth Premium’ system.
