Chevrolet Captiva 2011

Like almost all the manufacturers who decided not to give their models a facelift for 2010, it is now their turn to work on and present their ideas for the coming year, and among them the restyling carried out on the Chevrolet Captiva stands out in particular.
As you can see in the header image and in another photo placed in the extended entry, this model has been aesthetically redesigned to follow the new lines set by the brand, which will gradually appear across its entire range.

In my opinion, the styling this model has been given barely draws any attention, since it has only changed at the front, thanks to a large split grille and longer, more angular headlights. These changes, to my taste, could even make the previous model look more attractive.
But perhaps the best part of the restyling comes in the mechanical section, where we find a new 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine that delivers 258 hp, joined by two 2.2-litre common rail diesel engines whose outputs rise to 163 and 188 hp respectively.
Finally, it is worth noting that, since the photos provided by Chevrolet show nothing of the interior, the brand speaks of better interior finishes. We will have to wait for the Paris Motor Show to see them properly.
