Chevrolet Captiva Moonlander

Today marks forty years since man first set foot on the moon, a fact you have surely read about, heard about or seen in the various press and news outlets. But an event of such significance does not go unnoticed in the motoring world, and Chevrolet has created a special edition of just 40 units of its Captiva.
The Chevrolet Captiva Moonlander, which is the name of the special edition (meaning something like “moon landing”), has been created to order for Fahrmitgas, the company that supplies LPG systems to Chevrolet Europe (Liquefied Petroleum Gas). The Captiva Moonlander special series features a very eye-catching exterior and a range of screen-printed graphics inspired by the typography of Apollo 11.

Besides the typography, it also has a black bonnet that contrasts with the white exterior bodywork, white 20-inch alloy wheels and mirror-effect tinted rear glass. Inside, it also features a special edition plate and the American flag. In terms of equipment, it is worth highlighting that it comes with an iPod.
This limited edition Captiva Moonlander will be available only with petrol-LPG engines, and there will be two mechanical options: the 2.4 four-cylinder engine producing 136 CV with front-wheel drive, and the 3.2 V6 producing 230 CV with all-wheel drive. Its price starts at 25,590 euros.
