Chevrolet to unveil the Trax in Paris

Chevrolet has announced today one of the major new features it will bring to this year’s Paris Motor Show, which will take place at the end of September. The Chevrolet Trax is a small SUV with which the brand aims to carve out a place in this competitive market segment.

This small crossover is the sibling of the Opel Mokka, which we got to see a few months ago at the Geneva Show. It sits below the Captiva and will have enough room inside to seat five passengers.

Little is yet known about the Trax, but it will likely share engines with the Mokka, so it could come with the 1.6 at 115 CV, the 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine with 140 CV, and the 1.7 CDTI with 130 CV. Chevrolet has, however, revealed its intention to sell it in 140 countries and to start sales in spring next year. So we will be waiting for more information and new images.
