Chrysler 300C: the sedan bows out with a special edition
The sedan says goodbye with a special edition that highlights the model’s imposing look with several changes, with just 2,200 units in the USA and Canada

It has been several years since Chrysler stopped selling its models in Spain, but among the latest models that could still be seen was the Chrysler 300C, a high-performance sedan with a very attractive and powerful look. This model returned to the brand’s lineup in 2005 and quickly became popular. Today it is only sold in the United States and Canada and is about to bid farewell.
In 2023, a special edition of the Chrysler 300C will be launched for the US and Canadian markets, which will mark the end of production for this model. The special version will be based on the 300C SRT, and only 2,000 units in the United States and 200 in Canada will be available.

An exterior that respects the legacy
Although this is a farewell special edition, there are no elements that stray too far from the original design. On the grille you will see a tricolor 300C badge. It also features a rear spoiler and 20-inch alloy wheels, fitted with all-season tyres.
Darkened lighting elements, black chrome trim and a limited colour palette have also been added, including Gloss Black, Velvet Red and Bright White.
Inside we find heated and ventilated black leather seats, with embossed 300C logos. They also feature silver stitching that provides an elegant contrast, carbon fibre trim and black piano finish details. The pedals are alloy, and the infotainment system includes an 8.4-inch screen and is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Engine of the special edition
The special edition will feature the 6.4-litre HEMI V8 engine, which delivers 485 CV and a maximum torque of 644 Nm. It replaces the 5.7-litre HEMI engine, which offered 363 CV and 534 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox, designed to complete shifts in 160 milliseconds. All of this allows the engine to achieve impressive figures.

Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.3 seconds and it reaches a top speed of 257 km/h. In addition, it has a limited-slip differential and a red-painted four-piston Brembo brake system. The adaptive suspension helps control and improve the model’s handling, and the powerful sound of the V8 comes out through the exhaust.
The full equipment list for this special edition is not yet known, and we will have to wait until spring next year to find out what will be standard. What is certain is that Chrysler has reported it will include a good package of driver assistance systems, a heated steering wheel and other elements that will put the finishing touch on this model.
The launch price starts at 55,000 euros, but since it is a very limited edition, interested buyers will need to place their reservation as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
