Citroën C5 Aircross Shine, a limited edition available exclusively online

Citroën kicked off the year in style with the official presentation of the restyle of one of its most popular SUVs, the C5 Aircross, a model that arrived relatively recently, in 2018, and has since become one of the most successful models of the French brand, considering its still short lifespan.

The French brand wasted no time in putting the renewed C5 Aircross in its dealerships, starting just one month later with its commercialisation in our country, something essential if it wants to maintain and increase its success within its segment. Now, to make it even more attractive, Citroën announces the limited C5 Aircross Shine edition, of which there will be 150 units, and which can only be purchased online.

In terms of design, looking first at the exterior, Citroën offers the colours Pearl Black, Eclipse Blue and Platinum Grey, with the option of combining the last two colours with a black roof if desired. As standard it fits 18-inch alloy wheels in a two-tone diamond-cut finish, although a 19-inch black finish option is also available as an alternative. All of this comes with the Black Chrome Pack, which turns all exterior chrome trim black.

Moving inside, the C5 Aircross Shine is configured with the third of the five available ambiences, called Urban Black Comfort, which features Alcantara and a black leather-effect fabric used for the upholstery. Standard equipment highlights include:

Mechanically, Citroën offers the C5 Aircross Shine with the 1.2 PureTech 130 CV petrol engine or the 1.5 BlueHDi 130 CV diesel unit, both paired with a six-speed manual gearbox that sends power to the front axle. For those who prefer a greener option, the plug-in hybrid PHEV version producing 225 CV is also available, paired with an eight-speed EAT8 automatic gearbox.
