Citroën unveils a new camper van concept with the Holiday, based on the Spacetourer

Camper vans have become a very good option for discovering versatile vehicles, ready for everyday use and for living the outdoor adventure at any time. Citroën knows this, which is why it has launched a model that is ready to delight in outdoor leisure trips, equipped and ready to be used.

This model has room for four people to travel comfortably, both during the journey and when resting at night. To shape this model, the French brand drew on earlier prototypes such as the Hyphen, the Rip Curl and The Citroënist. This means there are several innovations from these concept cars that enhance a vehicle based on the Spacetourer designed for leisure.

In addition, the company worked with the Slovenian firm Bravia Mobil, which collaborated with Citroën to shape this vehicle. In terms of equipment, the Citroën Holiday has everything found on board the Spacetourer, such as the 17 driver assistance functions.

Inside, it is fitted with a complete range of elements for resting and living on board the vehicle. The pop-up roof houses a bed 1.20 m wide and 1.95 m long, ideal for two people. Comfort is enhanced by a window on the side of the pop-up tent, which allows control of sunlight and ventilation.

The rear seats can be converted into a bed, also for two people, measuring 1.15 m wide and 1.90 metres long. To ensure restful sleep, the windows and windscreen are fitted with curtains that block out light.

A small kitchen has been fitted, allowing hot meals thanks to its two gas burners. There is a sink and a 16-litre refrigerator. There is a folding table, and the front seats can be turned to face the rear ones, allowing the four occupants to share the table.

The side doors allow cooking from outside and, in addition, the removable table and detachable seats allow eating outdoors under the awning fitted to the vehicle. With all this, it is also an ideal vehicle for everyday use, thanks to its compact size.

Engines

In terms of engines, this model is available with two options. The first is a 150 CV diesel engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox, and the second is a 180 CV diesel engine with an EAT8 automatic gearbox. It also comes in two trim levels (Holidays and Pack Max).

This model can be purchased at any Citroën dealership, which delivers it with all the homologations required for the Spanish market.
