Classic cars with history: Lamborghini Countach

The Lamborghini Countach, with a revolutionary design ahead of its time. Production began in 1974 and ended in 1990. It has one of the most recognisable designs of any car; that futuristic touch does not go unnoticed.
Just over 2,000 units were built. A figure worth noting, especially considering it would not have been cheap at the time.
The early versions fitted the V12 engine from the Lamborghini Miura, with 4 litres and 375 CV. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h barely fell short of 5 seconds, and its top speed stood at a paltry 236 km/h. Figures that raise a smile next to the latest sports cars on the roads. The final versions fitted a V12 of 5.2 litres producing 455 CV, reaching 292 km/h. In its favour, it entered the market in the mid-70s. One can’t ask for miracles either.
