Concept Lancia J

I like the lines that the Italian brand’s production models and concept cars take less and less. Yes, it is Italian and the design is quite elaborate, but I wouldn’t dare call it innovative; rather, it is too daring for the competition out there.
As if it were a car from the future, the Lancia J, designed entirely by Enrico Fumia, appeared to celebrate the manufacturer’s 100 years, but, to be honest, more than a celebration it is a bit ugly.
We can still be spared seeing it on the street, since it is only a mock-up and doesn’t look likely to reach production, given its somewhat imperfect lines, harmonised though they are, and the two colours that separate the lower and upper parts of the car.
I have serious doubts that it will remain simply a concept, judging by the new Lancia Thesis (last photo), from which quite a few similarities can be drawn.
